Keyless Entry
If you're looking to buy an all-new Kia or have one already there are some key fob tips that can make your daily life easier. Learn how to make the most out of your vehicle's features.
You don't need to fish your Kia key fob out of the pocket or bag to unlock the driver's door thanks to the car's proximity keyless entry feature. Simply stand within two feet of the door and press the handle of the door, or press the unlock button on the key fob to open it hands-free. The liftgate and the trunk can be opened remotely by using your Kia keyfob.
A key fob's battery may be worn out over time but it's often easy to recognize warning indicators. Most smart key fobs display a message on the infotainment system screen if the battery is close to running out, giving ample time to replace it.
